‘An unexpected item in the packing area’ Movie fans gasp as Oscar-winning Hollywood star is spotted in Tesco store
The Hollywood star left his fans awestruck after bagging a bargain at Tesco.
The Oscar winner, 63, was thrilled when she went to a supermarket in the UK, even capturing her experience with a selfie at the self-service checkout.
Julianne Moore was joined by her son, Caleb Freundlich, and his girlfriend, Kypria, for the short trip around London.
The trip even came on Kibria’s birthday, with the actress writing in her caption: Happy birthday beautiful, we love you.
This was accompanied by a happy snapshot that saw Julianne in front of the shot staring into the device’s security camera.
She ditched make-up, pulled her brunette hair into a low bun and wrapped herself in a green puffy coat as she appeared to be holding a bottle of milk.
Julianne, who took home the Oscar for Best Actress in 2015 for Still Alice, was enveloped in a hug by her son’s partner – while Caleb snapped a selfie behind him.
Fans in the UK were quick to comment on the supermarket selfie, with one writing: “Not Julianne Moore in Tesco.”
A second pose: “If I see Julianne Moore in Tesco I’ll lose my mind.”
While a third posted: “Unexpected item in Tesco packing area.”
While another pointed to the store’s loyalty card system, quipping: “Julian, do you have a club card?????”
The Boogie Nights star seems to have form when it comes to hilarious antics in supermarkets, and has previously admitted to enjoying embarrassing her two children in the store.
In 2019, she admitted: “I’m not a dancer, I just dance in front of my kids to embarrass them.
“I’m a grocery store dancer because it’s really embarrassing.
“They say, ‘Mom, stop it. Mom.’
It came after Willem Dafoe left Welsh residents stunned when he took an Indian into a Cardiff restaurant for two days on a trot.
