Finn Wolfhard reveals he no longer wants to star in a Marvel movie – is this how all of Hollywood feels?
Weird things Finn Wolfhard was the latest actor to take part in Vanity Fair’s lie detector test interview, and the young Hollywood star was asked some interesting questions about the Marvel movies.
In particular, Finn was asked if he would like to star in an MCU movie, and the actor replied: “Yes. In the past, yes.“
He then went on to confirm that he never asked him Ghostbusters: The Frozen Empire Co-star Paul Rudd had a kind word for it along with Kevin Feige.
Wolfhard confirmed that he never asked because the Marvel movies were “Mid” newly.
The polygraph examiner administering the test confirmed that he was telling the truth before Wolfhard responded to another question in which he admitted that he didn’t think casting himself would save the MCU.

These days, Marvel movie starring doesn’t seem to have the same glamor it once did. Six or so years ago, there was no telling what the young actor would be willing to do in order to land a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
However, recently, Kristen Stewart noted that starring in a Marvel movie, “Sounds like a nightmare.“
Iron Man Gwyneth Paltrow also recently made comments critical of the genre, saying that There have been a limited number of good superhero movies It can be performed before this type recurs.
Even Robert Downey Jr. seems to look down on the genre, recently thanking Christopher Nolan for casting him. Oppenheimer And restore a sense of integrity in his professional life.
Is this the dominant narrative in Hollywood right now, that superhero movies are no longer the buzz party they once were? If that’s the case, Feige and DCU’s James Gunn may have a hard time attracting top-tier talent for future projects.
Of course, if the next Avengers movie proves to generate another billion dollars for Marvel, don’t be surprised if there’s another shift in thinking among young actors in Hollywood.
Wolfhard’s comments certainly put him in the crosshairs of fans who have remained loyal to the MCU, as they point out that he’s being called the Marvel films’ mid-aughts while starring Frozen Empire.
