Promising Tamil actor Vemal has reunited with director Ozil for the sequel to his previous successful film Desingu Raja. The official announcement about Desingu Raja 2 was made a few months ago and the shooting is currently underway. Well, this is the latest update of “Desingu Raja”. The film has scenes where the Bollywood actress shakes a leg for a dance number. It is none other than Sneha Gupta who is popular for her roles in ‘Sridevi Soda Center’ and ‘Tees Maar Khan’. Sneha Gupta will be making a special appearance in a dance number in Desingu Raja 2, for which she was paid Rs 5 million. A grand set has been built in Chennai Film City for the shoot of the song and the film is shaping up to be grander than expected.

The similarities between the prequel and sequel of ‘Desingu Raja’ will be in the genre, but the story of both parts will be different. In Desingu Raja 2, Vemal will play a police officer while Pujita Ponnada will play the female lead. Lollu Sabha Swaminathan, Singam Puli, Shaams and Pugazh play important roles and the music for the film will be composed by Vidya Sagar.
