This movie is incomplete without me – Republic World
Prithviraj Sukhumaran, who will be sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the action film ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’, is reluctant to take a back seat for the film and let other stars shine. He said he would not. He is playing the role of an antagonist in a Bollywood film scheduled for release on April 10th.
“I’ve been an afterthought in terms of running time on a lot of movies.”
“Rather than putting yourself first, I believe that you should put the film first and make sure casting is done in a way that does justice to the story… If you look at my filmography in Malayalam, I There are multiple films that are on the back burner in terms of language,” Prithviraj told PTI.
The 41-year-old actor gave the example of the 2021 film ‘Kurti’, in which he played the antagonist despite being offered the lead role by the film’s director Manu Warrier.
Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan will see Akshay and Tiger play two elite soldiers who embark on a mission to recover a stolen AI weapon and will perform desperate stunts.
Prithviraj talks about his role at BMCM
Although the film stars Akshay and Tiger in the lead roles, Prithviraj said it would be incomplete without his character Kabir. “Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan has Akshay sir, who is one of the biggest stars in the country, and we also have Tiger, who is a very popular young star in Hindi. Without Kabir, this film would not have been possible. I can tell you it’s perfect,” the Goat Life star said.
Produced by Pooja Entertainment in association with AAZ, ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’ will hit the screens on April 10, coinciding with Eid. The film also stars Manushi Chhillal, Sonakshi Sinha and Alaya F.
