Olivia Colman criticizes pay disparity in Hollywood
Olivia Colman has become vocal about pay disparity in Hollywood, saying she would make “so much more” if she were a male actor.
The actress and producer spoke out about the pay inequality she’s witnessed in the film and TV industry during a recent appearance on CNN. Amanpour watch.
“Don’t get me started on the pay disparity, but male actors get paid more because they used to say they attract audiences.” the crown The actress said. “And actually, that hasn’t been true for decades, but they still like to use that as a reason why women aren’t paid as much as their male counterparts.”
