About Madgaon Express

‘Madgaon Express’ depicts the journey of three childhood friends played by Pratik Gandhi, Divyendu and Avinash Tiwary. They embark on a journey to Goa, but things don’t go well. Kunal, whose acting credits include ‘Kalyug’, ‘Go Goa Gone’ and ‘Lootcase’, directed the film from a script he wrote. ‘Madgaon Express’ also stars Nora Fatehi, Upendra Limaye and Chhaya Kadam.

Kunal told PTI that the film is an ode to his first journey to Goa, which he took on a train called Madgaon Express. “I am often asked why Goa. It also comes down to the mode of transportation you use to reach these places. Especially if you are with friends, it could be a road trip or a plane trip. “Airplane travel is not so much fun. The space and experience you get on a car or train journey is just a little bit more than being on a plane,” he said.
