Ryan Coogler has a date to return to movie theaters. Warner Bros. has set A March 7, 2025 release for the project, which will star Michael B. Jordan, arrives in Imax.

The film is untitled, but true to Coogler’s form, it is described as an event film. Coogler is producing via Proximity Media with Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian. One of Coogler’s frequent collaborators, composer Ludwig Göransson, will executive produce with Rebecca Cho and Will Greenfield. Goransson, who earlier this month won the Academy Award for Best Score for his work on the Christopher Nolan film oppenheimer, He also won an Oscar for Coogler’s film Black Panther.

Warner Bros. acquired The project was awarded in February after a bidding war and under a unique deal that will see Coogler regain some rights to the project after several years. Coogler is looking forward to a production date this spring in New Orleans.

Coogler rose to become one of the most in-demand directors in Hollywood after reviving the Rocky franchise Doctrine In 2015 and historic leadership Black Pantherreleased in 2018.
