The Avengers come together for each other when they need it.

In conversation with the peoplecelebrating Robert Downey Jr.’s first Oscar win, Jeremy Renner spoke about how his star was by his side after a near-death experience after being run over by a snowplow.

In the weeks following the horrific accident, he spent time in the intensive care unit, and noted that Downey was constantly checking in with him. “We ended up having really great conversations on FaceTime like we were dating or something,” Renner recalls.
