And Now Live: Shiv Tandan’s audio web series adds fun to life’s tough questions
Young director Shiv Tandan’s latest offering, And Now Live, which is currently streaming on both Apple Podcasts and Spotify, adds a touch of fun to difficult questions by weaving a compelling story around music.
It is guided by band members Danny and Nima, their manager Chirag and cafe owner Mania – the central characters – and their dreams and aspirations.
Associated with India recently roped in actors Varun Tewari (Dan), Pallavi Parajape (Nima), Anuj Rampal (Chirag) and Rhea Menon (Mania) and director Shiv Tandan for an episode of its Spotlight podcast.
The five shared behind-the-scenes stories from their recording sessions and how Shiv got his friends Anuj and Varun to come up with the concept of the novel.
Pallavi Pharanjape, who plays the role of a crooner, said that the actor’s knowledge of music was a prerequisite for the role. Pallavi’s real life skills shined when she had it with Varun.
With positive responses, Shiv is now planning to convert the audio web series to screen. When he does, there is an answer closely guarded by Father Time.
