The upcoming Tamil streaming series ‘Inspector Rishi’ follows the journey of a skeptical inspector, Rishi Nandhan. Rishi’s convictions are challenged when he investigates a series of peculiar murders linked to the supernatural.
The horror crime drama is produced by Nandhini JS and stars Naveen Chandra of ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ fame and was last seen in ‘Jigarthanda Double X’ alongside Kana Ravi of ‘Kaithi’ fame. .
It also stars Malini Jeevaratnam, Srikrishna Dayal and Kumaraveli in lead roles.
Speaking about the series, Nandini JS said in a statement, “As a creator, working on ‘Inspector Rishi’ has been a deeply gratifying experience and I am grateful for this collaboration. Integrating police procedural with horror and mystery allowed me to explore new dimensions of the story, delving deeper into the terrifying and mysterious world of Inspector Rishi.
“The excellent performances by the cast, including Naveen Chandra, Kana Ravi, Malini Jeevaratnam, Srikrishna Dayal, Kumaravel and the dedicated efforts of the crew have beautifully conveyed my vision on screen,” he added.
The ten-episode series will be released on March 29 on Prime Video.
