Director Sujoy Ghosh has an exciting project in the works that will reunite Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan. Suhana made her debut with Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’ last year.


The father-daughter duo was already working on a movie before Archies began streaming. The film will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by SRK’s Red Chillies.

According to Zoom’s report, the project is back on track. They believe that by collaborating on this project, they can boost Suhana’s career. The shooting of the film is expected to begin in mid-2024 and will be SRK’s next project after ‘Dhanki’.

The report also suggests that it has been revealed that the actor and Suhana will not be playing the roles of father and daughter in the film directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The story is inspired by Rabindranath Tagore’s Kabuliwala and Sujoy is currently writing the complete script. SRK plays the role of a lonely person who starts developing paternal feelings towards a girl who gets involved in trouble with anti-social elements.

The film looks to Cabuliwalla for inspiration, but also includes elements of Luc Besson’s 1994 thriller Léon: The Professional.
