Sona Mohapatra gets apology from Salman Khan fan: Sorry for death threat
24 hours after Sona Mohapatra was threatened to death by a Salman Khan fan on Twitter for supporting Priyanka Chopra Jonas, the singer has now received an apology from the man on email.
Sona recently took to Twitter to share the screenshots of the apology. She wrote, “From S**t ‘I’ll kill you’ to ‘Sona Mam’. A journey of toxic intimidation to ‘being intimidated’ within 24 hours? I’m guessing he figured that India would find & thrash him soon enough. Dear followers of bhai the bully, please read the writing in the wall. Your time is UP. (sic)”
In the screenshot shared by the singer, the Salman fan wrote, “Dear Sona Ma’am. I’am really sorry for the death threat mail I send yesterday. I’am so sorry for my act. I didn’t mean to offend you. Being a die hard Salman Khan fan, I couldn’t think straight once I read your post, my anger took over and I greatly regret my action. Please forgive me. Regards (sic).”
Yesterday, the Ambarsariya singer received death threats from the troll which read, “Once again if you tell anything bad about Salman Khan from bl**dy, f***ing mouth, I will get into your house and kill you. It’s the final warning, you sl*t.”
Sharing the screenshot of the message from Bhai’s angry fan, Mohapatra wrote, “Such and such mails come my way regularly from the followers of this hero of bad behaviour. This beacon of human values who inspires such serial toxic behavior, is actually claiming the title of Bharat, drawing parallels with our great nation, nothing lesser. (sic)”
