Shahid Kapoor says outsiders are not easily accepted in Bollywood
Mumbai: Shahid Kapoor impressed everyone with his performance in ‘Teri Burton Mein Aisa Urja Jiya’. His chemistry with Kriti Sanon in the film was great. The film also did well at the box office.

He recently appeared on Neha Dhupia’s show No Filter Neha. He talked about everything that is happening in Bollywood. He slammed the camp culture in Bollywood.
He revealed that Bollywood insiders do not easily accept outsiders. He also asked his colleagues in Bollywood to allow people to work with whomever they want and not to degrade them. And he called these statements ‘no-filter shaheed’.
Neha then asked if she hasn’t joined any camp in Bollywood since her career started. Mr. Shahid said he did not have the qualities of a grumpy person. He recalled how he was not accepted into his classes when he came to Mumbai from Delhi. He said he was treated badly at that time.
He said they found it difficult to make friends because they lived in a rented house in Mumbai and changed houses every 11 months. And he said that when he went to Shiamak Davar’s class and college, he felt accepted and then he became an actor.
He said, “When I joined this industry, I realized that this too is like school. Bahar waale ko aasani se accept nahi karte ye log, inko bada problem hota hai ke tum aa kaise gae ander.”
And he said he doesn’t like such an unpleasant culture and that everyone should be allowed to work with whomever they want. He feels that no one should deny anyone or put anyone down. He said things like this happen at fraternities and he doesn’t like being bullied.

He said that when he was young, he was troubled and lacked confidence. But now, if someone bullies him, he bullies them back.
