Delayed OTT Movies and Web Series Coming March 2024: 2024 started on a good note for Indian cinema. South Indian and Bollywood movies enjoy great success at the box office. However, despite this positive trend, some films are lagging behind on OTT premieres. One such example is the 2024 Malayalam film Abraham Ozler, which faced an unexpected setback. The film is reportedly slated to make its OTT debut in March 2024.

“Abraham Ozler” is a 2024 Indian Malayalam-language thriller film that focuses on psychological, medical and crime themes. Co-produced and directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, written by Randher Krishnan, the film boasts of a stellar cast. Jayaram portrays the titular character supported by Anaswara Rajan, Arjun Ashokan, Anoop Menon, Arya Salim, Senthil Krishna, Jagadish, Saiju Kurup and Dilesh Pothani. Additionally, Mammootty makes an extended cameo appearance. The story revolves around the life of Abraham Ozler, a seasoned police officer who struggles with the brutal disappearance of his family. When he becomes involved in a murder investigation involving an IT worker, Ozler finds himself on the hunt for a devious serial killer.

“Panchayat” debuted on Amazon Prime Video on April 3, 2020. Critics have largely praised the series, applauding the performances of the lead actors, the screenplay, direction and various technical aspects. Notably, critics praised TVF for venturing into rural villages, a departure from their previous projects, mostly in urban settings.
The second season was originally scheduled to air on May 20, 2022, but all episodes were abruptly canceled two days ahead of schedule. This season explores Abhishek’s deeper involvement in rural politics and development, along with preparing for the CAT exam.
The excitement followed the announcement of a third season, originally set to premiere on January 15, 2024. However, it was later postponed to the first week of March.
Zvigato (Netflix)
Zwigato OTT release date: March 2024 (expected)
Zwigato is a 2022 Hindi language drama film directed by Nadita Das. Produced by Applause Entertainment and Nandita Das Initiatives, the film explores the unshakable nature of life. Kapil Sharma and Shahana Goswami play the lead roles. The film premiered at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival before its theatrical release on March 17, 2023. Acclaimed at the 69th Filmfare Awards, Zwigato bagged three nominations, notably in categories like Critics’ Best Film and Critics’ Best Actress.
Agent (Sony LIV)
Agent OTT Release Date: March 2024 (Expected)
Agent is an action packed spy thriller in Telugu language from 2023 directed by Surender Reddy and written by Vakantham Vamsi. The film features Akhil Akkineni, Mammootty, Dino Morea, Sakshi Vaidya and Vikramjeet Virk in prominent roles. Notably, this film serves as the Telugu cinema debut of Vaidya and Morea.
