Chopra said that he later discovered that his role was not central to the plot but was merely a reference to the film. “But when I arrived on the set, I was told that he was not the Godfather, and that the Godfather was just a character in the film,” recalls Chopra.
The veteran actor also opened up about his 2012 Hollywood film debut Heartland, a Punjabi-English film in which English is the dominant language, and why his character Sardar in the film refuses to speak English is because of his past. expertise.
“I have done some American films as well, including Heartland, which was released across America. I played the role of Sardar in the film,” the actor said.

“There’s a good story about it,” Chopra said about why the Sardar character he writes about in “Heartland” refuses to speak English.

The actor said that the character of the Sardar in the film finds himself wrestling with conflicting ideas about allowing his son to marry into a community that viewed him differently due to past experiences.
Chopra stated that in the film he “kept looking at that girl, thinking to himself that it would ever be possible for me to let my son marry someone who represents a community of people who don’t look like some of my best friends.
