Article 370 began its theatrical run on Friday with an impressive collection of $711,000. The film witnessed a huge surge in revenue on Saturday, boasting a whopping 25% increase since its premiere. On the second day, the Yami Gautam starrer collected her $892,000.

That momentum continued through Sunday, when Sakniruk said the film grossed an additional $1.1 million. Thus, the third day’s collection brought Article 370’s total domestic earnings to her staggering $2.7 million.

Despite mixed reviews, this upward trajectory is due to strategic planning. Interestingly, the film was released in theaters on a day announced by PVR-INOX as Cinema Lover’s Day. Thus, moviegoers took advantage of his discounted ticket price of $1.19 (Rs. 99).
