The coveted Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival awards ceremony was held in Mumbai on Tuesday and was attended by people from the Indian film industry. Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Kareena Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Shahid Kapoor were spotted at the glitzy awards night.

The night also saw several film and television artists recognized for their contributions to cinema in 2023. Highlights included Shah Rukh Khan winning the Best Actor award for the film Jawan and Rani Mukerji winning the Best Actress award for Mrs Chatterjee vs. Norway.

Telugu director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Hindi directorial ‘Animal’ drew mixed reactions from the industry and audience, but he once again won the Best Director award for his film.

Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer swept several trophies on BAFTA night, winning Best International Feature Film at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival.

Rupali Ganguly made her mark in the television world by winning the Best Actress in a TV Series award for her role in Anupamaa. The award for Best Actor in a Television Series went to Neil Bhatt for his role in the show ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’.
