The festival features a full weekend of film screenings – all of which are free – as well as a special tour of famous Hollywood locations, including studio sites from the silent era, with an emphasis on the locations where Fairbanks and Ince made their films. The tour, called Keaton’s “BusTour” (a nod to another famous actor of the silent film era), costs $60 a ticket.
The films will be shown at three different venues within the Newhall area: Newhall Family Theater for the Performing Arts, Maine Theater, and Newhall Community Center. The festival begins on Friday, February 16, 2024 and continues until Sunday, February 18, 2024.
