When asked about the status of immortal Aswatthama At the trailer launch event for Article 370, director Aditya Dhar said that the film is on the back burner for now. “We’re putting that on the back burner now. To be honest, the vision we all had was too big to work in an Indian film. The kind of VFX quality we were looking for , no one here was even aiming for that,” he revealed.
Aditya Dhar added that a film like ‘The Immortal Aswatthama’ cannot be planned unless the technology becomes affordable or the market expands in India. He cited Avatar director James Cameron as an example, saying even he had to wait years to make this movie.
“Director James Cameron, for example, thought of Avatar 27 years ago, but he waited for the market to grow and the technology to get to a level where he could actually present it. Of course, I It’s not him, but if you have to achieve excellence, you can’t be mediocre. It’s too late. Even if it takes five years of my heyday, the movie has to be great. “No,” he explained.

Aditya Dar’s Article 370, on the other hand, is based on real events that shaped Kashmir’s destiny. The film is about the central government’s decision to revoke Article 370 as a counter-terrorism measure in Kashmir.
