Cocktail ending: What did Gautam say to his mother?
Gautam’s mother Kavita and uncle Randhir come to London to look for him. However, Kavita is shocked to see Gautam having a drunken adventure with two girls. She asks him if she has found someone to settle down with yet. Kavita is not very fond of Veronica’s lifestyle, but Randhir has a crush on her. However, Gautam lies to Kavita and tells her that she is having her affair with Meera because Meera is an “ideal Indian girl” in her mother’s eyes.
During this setup, Gautam and Meera become close and fall in love. However, Meera does not want to hurt her best friend Veronica, so she is hesitant to confess the same. Meanwhile, Veronica falls in love with Gautam and she tries to charm Kavita by becoming a ‘proper’ Indian girl.
What happened between Meera, Veronica and Gautam?
Gautam then feels that he cannot continue to lie and sits with Meera and Veronica. He explained to Veronica that he loves Meera even though she loves him. Meera apologized to Veronica, but Veronica assured her that she was fine and she insisted that she should go out and celebrate. However, a drunk Veronica at her club breaks down in tears and tells Gautam that she will do whatever she wants. She then tells Meera that she used her to get close to him.
The next morning, the three parted ways. Meera decides to return to Kunal. However, Gautama is unable to concentrate on work or move on, and Veronica falls into depression and becomes destructive. However, when his girlfriend Veronica was seriously injured in an accident, Gautam took her to her hospital. Meera arrives there with Kunal and she pretends to have gotten over Gautham.
Will Gautam, Veronica and Meera reunite?
Towards the end of Cocktail, Gautam returns with Veronica to take care of her. She thinks Veronica is rebuilding their relationship, but she realizes that Gautham is no longer the man she fell in love with and that he is the only one around her Meera. . There, she sacrifices her love for Gautham and helps Gautham find Meera.
They contact Kunal, who tells him that Meera has left him and returned to India. In the end, Gautam and Veronica travel to India and Veronica helps Gautam propose to Meera, which she accepts. Veronica and Meera become best friends again, and the three friends finally put aside their differences and reunite.
