Anurag Kashyap says Bollywood is dominated by second-generation stars ‘grown in courtrooms’ in video

Director Anurag told Galatta Plus, “In the South, we have filmmakers coming from all directions, all walks of life, all cultures… There are diverse voices. You would never have imagined that Lokesh (Kanagraj) would be this Lokesh. . This is an industry that continues to attract people from all walks of life.”

“Here, cinema is primarily controlled by those people, and that second generation is also controlled by people who grew up in screening rooms. They don’t live the life. I mean, their references are It’s based on a movie. So anything that doesn’t appear on screen can’t be a movie to them,” he added.

Previously, the film was also screened at the Cannes Film Festival, where it received a seven-minute standing ovation from the audience. Kennedy tells the story of an insomniac former police officer, long thought dead, who becomes entangled in a corrupt system while searching for salvation.
