Los Angeles, February 2 (SocialNews.XYZ) Director Denis Villeneuve has insisted that after the 2021 flick Dune: Part Two, which followed the 2021 epic war film based on Frank Herbert’s classic novel, Dune Messiah will be his film. The last outing if greenlit, although there are four more books.

“Dune Messiah has to be the last Dune movie for me,” he said. Villeneuve will next turn his attention to adaptations of Stacey Schiff’s “Cleopatra” and Arthur C. Clarke’s “Appointment with Rama,” Female First UK reported.

The director revealed to Time magazine. Actress Zendaya recently said she would “of course” return for “Dune 3.”

The 27-year-old actress is open to reprising her role in a potential ‘Dune Messiah’ film, and insisted she would work with the director again anytime he asks.

“Are we going to be down? I mean, of course,” she told Fandango. “Any time Dennis calls, it’s a yes from me, at least. I’m excited to see what happens. I started ‘Messiah’ and was like, ‘Wow, I’m just shooting the first movie.’ “Let me go back to the first movie.” “It’s a big thing to take in, and I think there are no better hands with better care and love than he (Villeneuve).”

Dune: Part Two stars Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Josh Brolin, and Rebecca Ferguson.

According to Female First UK, it will be released in March and Zendaya can’t wait to see it.

“I’m just excited to see…it’s just an anticipation. When he’s ready,” she said, “I know he’s a perfectionist in a lot of ways and doesn’t want to share things unless he’s completely ready to do it. So (I’m)) respecting that and waiting until he’s ready.”

Villeneuve has previously revealed that he wants to do a trilogy, with the third film based on Herbert’s book Dune Messiah, the second book in the Dune series. “If I make a trilogy, that would be the dream. I will say, there are words on paper (for a third film),” he told Empire magazine.
