The fighter’s collection is noticeably lower, even compared to poor performers like Danki and Tiger 3. While Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dhanki earned Rs 152 million in seven days, Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 against Salar earned Rs 214 million.
The numbers of ‘Fighter’ are not as high as ‘War’, which was Siddharth Anand and Hrithik Roshan’s last collaboration and was a huge hit. The YRF actioner had earned Rs 280 million (Hindi) in the same seven-day period in 2019.
The film is gaining momentum heading into its second weekend and is expected to do well at the box office. Hrithik will next be seen with Jr NTR in ‘War 2’ and Deepika is hoping for a huge success with Prabhas starrer ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ which is scheduled to release in May.
The film doesn’t have any major competition apart from Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s romantic comedy ‘Teri Barton Mein Aisa Urja Jiya’ which will be released on February 9.
