The actor recently spoke about appearance-based stereotypes in Bollywood and said a case in point is the case of Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Limited. “If Mukesh Ambani had not been a businessman and had gone for the audition, he would never have been cast in the rich role because he doesn’t look like one,” Tripathi said in an interview with ANI. .

The actor, who won a national award, said, “The film industry has created a stereotype that doctors look like this and engineers look like this.In auditions, even when junior artists are required, they look wealthy and elegant.
