Oscars 2024 nominations: The contenders as Hollywood prepares to announce film awards
The 2024 Oscar nominations are on the cusp of being announced in Hollywood.
The final round of nominations will be revealed on Tuesday (January 23) during a live broadcast hosted by Zazie Beetz (Atlanta, joker(And Jack Quaid)Boys, Oppenheimer) In Los Angeles.
The films, actors, directors and writers in contention will be named from 1.30pm GMT – 8.30am EST – one week after BAFTA nominations are announced in the UK.
Films expected to compete for awards include Christopher Nolan Oppenheimerwhich swept the Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards earlier this month, in addition to its blockbuster rival Barbiedirected by Greta Gerwig and Martin Scorsese Moonflower Killers And Bad thingsstarring Emma Stone.
Jimmy Kimmel will host this year’s Academy Awards, which will be held on March 10. It will be broadcast live in the UK on ITV.

Best Supporting Actor
