Lindsay Lohan prepares second Netflix movie with Our Little Secret – The Hollywood Reporter
Lindsay Lohan is continuing her film contract with Netflix Our little secretIt is directed by Stephen Herrick and stars Kristin Chenoweth, Ian Harding, John Rudnitsky, and Chris Parnell.
Hailey DeDominis penned the film around two dissatisfied ex-couples who are forced to spend Christmas under the same roof after discovering that their current partners are siblings. The cast includes Tim Meadows, Dan Bucatinsky, Henry Czerny, Katie Baker, Ash Santos, Jake Brennan, and Brian Unger.
Our little secret It is part of Lohan’s two-picture deal with Netflix. The streamer has been making a broad push in recent years toward Christmas-themed rom-coms for subscribers looking to get into the holiday spirit. Herrick’s relationship drama is now in production.
Lohan also headlined the Netflix holiday romantic comedy special Fall for Christmaswhere is the I mean girls The star played a spoiled hotel heiress who has a skiing accident, suffers from amnesia and is looked after by a handsome, blue-collar motel owner.
The two-picture deal with Netflix marks Lohan’s full return to on-screen acting after several years of sporadic roles, including in British TV comedies. Sick note and an MTV reality show Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club.
The Netflix deal also seeks to put Lohan at a career low for the once high-flying Hollywood star who helmed films such as the 1998 Nancy Meyers remake.
