Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Ravi Jadhav, ‘Main Atal Hoon’ is co-written by Jadhav and Rishi Virmani. The film’s cast includes Pankaj Tripathi, Piyush Mishra, Raja Rameshkumar Sevak, Daya Shankar Pandey, Payal Nehru, Paula McGlynn and Gauri Sukthankar in important roles.
Despite Pankaj Tripathi’s commendable performance, the film has received mixed reviews from critics. Indian Express film critic Shubhra Gupta gave the film two stars. In her review, she said, “Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s Pankaj Tripathi was born to play this role.His mastery of Hindi, the rhythm of his speech is hypnotic; We get hooked, but even an actor as talented as Tripathi can’t do much with such a reductive script. , a round portrait of the up-and-comer Neta who was instrumental in the formation of the early Jan Sangh, the formation of the short-lived Janata Party, and the birth of the present Bharatiya Janata Party.
