Historical drama Oppenheimer BAFTA topped the BAFTA Film Awards nominations on Thursday, receiving 13 nods. The sexually charged gothic comedy Bad Things and Martin Scorsese’s The Moonflower Killers, about the murder of members of the Osage Nation in the 1920s, received nine nominations.
All three films will compete for the ceremony’s top prize – Best Picture – alongside the courtroom drama Anatomy of a Fall and The Holdovers, a comedy set at a boys’ boarding school.
