Kajol’s niece, Pranutan Bahl, announces her first Hollywood film, Coco & Nut

Kajol’s niece, granddaughter of legendary actress Nutan and Mohnish Bahl’s daughter, Pranutan Bahl, has announced her first film in Hollywood. coconut Opposite the American actor and director Rahsan Nour.

The enchanting love story, which has been described as an uplifting romance, is directed by Nour. After the Salman Khan-backed Notebook (2019) and the comedy-drama Helmet (2022), the upcoming film marks Pranutan’s international debut and promises to be a major milestone in her career.

“I have always wanted to do a romantic drama,” Pranutan expressed. “coconut It is a beautiful story in which my character, Nott, travels through a transformative phase in her life. “I’m very grateful to be making my international debut with a film like this.”

Written by Noor and Raghav Murali, with an additional screenplay credited to Priyamvada Singh, the film is produced by Chad Shields of Hamilton Moving Pictures, along with Ranjith Rajasekharan and Raghav Murali.

The picture will prove to be a poignant reflection of our modern, interconnected world.”

The project is co-financed by Noor Ziryab Films, director Henry Leung’s MacCoverse, and executive producers Mashrooq Zahid and Lassally Changkasith. The film is scheduled to be released in 2025.
