Sonam Kapoor Wants To Debut In OTT Should Be Titled ‘Tentpole Film Or Series’
The actor wants to return to acting now that his son Vayu Ahuja is a little older. She was last seen in the Hindi film Blind.

Actress Sonam Kapoor, who returned to films last year after her pregnancy, said she is ready to explore streaming platforms if she is approached for a tentpole film or TV series.
Sonam, recently seen in a movie blind Directed by Shome Makhija and also starring Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak and Lillette Dubey.
The film marked Sonam’s return to acting after a maternity break. Sonam gave birth to Vayu in August 2022.
Sonam explained in a statement, “For me, good content and good cinema is what matters. The platform where it comes out is immaterial because the world has changed. I’m happy to lead a project on streaming that makes people happy. I really like the variety of content. “
Sonam is a fan of streaming content and is happy with how platforms have changed people’s appetite for content.
He said, “I’ve always wanted to make my foray into streaming, provided I title a blockbuster movie or TV series on a global streaming platform. I look at the outstanding content that streaming platforms have been creating for years.”
He added, “I believe streaming platforms have pushed the content envelope in our country, making it more creatively disruptive and dynamic. The bar that streaming content has set globally, as well as in India, is incredible. Streaming allows you to experiment a lot as an artist. This is a very interesting way for me. So I’m ready to make my streaming debut.
Sona said, “I know my streaming debut has been a long time coming and I hope people really like what I have to offer.”
Meanwhile, Sonam has also signed two new projects, including one Battle for Bitora. Other project details are currently under wraps.
