In a chat with ETimes, gaurav Sareen talked about her new movie.Dashmi”, he said, calling it an exciting and emotional story of good triumphing over evil. He also touched on the transition from television to film, expressing his belief that today’s audiences can understand and appreciate well-told stories and characters, and that old stigmas are no longer a major concern. . Please tell me about “Dashmi”.
Dashmi is about good triumphing over evil. It’s a very thrilling and moving movie. I played two of her characters in this movie. One belongs to a college student and the other belongs to Lord Ram. This movie is a story worth seeing, so go see it in theaters.
Who did you bond with the most on a movie set?
I think we had the most bond. Vardhan Puri and Ankit Kaira. I also had a good chat with Ram Naresh Diwakar. Everyone was very kind both on set and outside. We still keep in touch and update frequently. I am lucky to have met many good people on the sets of ‘Dashmi’.

Can you share any interesting anecdotes from your filming days?
I had a lot of fun on set while filming. Our director often asked us to listen to the songs for this movie, but it hadn’t been released yet. It’s a beautiful song. We are very emotionally connected to this song. The song was played before filming scenes for this film. I think this song is the basis of this movie.

We worked differently. There were various workshops, and producers and directors took us out of the city and into remote areas where there was no phone service. Our workshop lasted from 6am to 11am. After that, we had breakfast and took a short break. The workshop resumed in the evening with readings. In the process of making this movie, I had a lot of experiences, especially since it was my first movie. So it was a unique and different experience for me.

‘Adipurush’ received a lot of backlash from the audience and critics, were you skeptical before joining this genre of films?
I never had any doubts because each story is different. I believe that each person has their own destiny. I think everyone is doing their best while making a movie, but it’s up to the audience to take a break or not.
You have worked extensively in the television industry. How do you think TV actors perceive the transition to the silver screen?
If someone had asked me this question a few years ago, my reaction would have been completely different. But today, I can definitely say that the audience is very discerning. They understand the story of a good movie very well. If an actor can do justice to a character, the audience will accept it. Today, I don’t think the stigma of transitioning from television exists anymore, especially when it comes to this film. I didn’t feel any discomfort. I felt like maybe this is for me and this is what I need to do. This felt right to me.

Are there any actors you admire in the film industry?
There are two actors I respect in the film industry.One is Mr. Dev Anand And the other one is Shah Rukh Khan. These people have earned worldwide recognition for their performance. I want to be one of those great actors.
What will 2024 hold for Gaurav Sareen?
My first film ‘Dashmi’ will be released in 2024. sunil kumar reddy. He has done many films in the South. He is also doing another film with director Dashmi.
