Pushpa 2 features Bollywood actress in item song

The shooting of ‘Pushpa 2’ has resumed and is currently underway in Hyderabad. The first part of the film titled ‘Pushpa The Rise’ starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandana in the lead pair created a sensation with its item song. Samantha performed the item song ‘Oo Antava Mava’ which went viral across India.

Samantha’s performance as the top heroine in such a vulgar number also contributed to the film’s success. Director Sukumar was known for creating super hit item songs right from the beginning of his first film.

So, who will play the item girl in Pushpa 2? Pooja Hegde did the item song for ‘Rangasthalam’ and Samantha did it for the first part of ‘Pushpa’. Will they cast another top heroine in this new work?

According to sources, the producers are considering casting a popular Bollywood actress for the item song to increase the popularity of the Hindi version. The first part of ‘Pushpa’ became an unexpected hit in North India. So, Allu Arjun is hoping to expand the Hindi market with this film.

Names like Kriti Sanon and Disha Patani are being bandied about. However, it remains to be seen who will play Samantha in the second installment.
