Upon accepting the trophy, director Eric Abel jokingly thanked the Academy for winning Best Picture, and thanked Radcliffe for his mustache, glasses, and abs transformation. Yankovic took to the stage to say he wanted to leave the room with the words of a wise man who told you to live the life you want to live and be as weird as you want to be.

When asked about his newly arrived midway to EGOT status behind the scenes, Jankovic said: “It only took 40 years, and in another 40 I’ll be there.”
