Regarding ‘Animal’, which deals with the relationship between violence and masculinity, director Sudip expressed his disappointment with the film’s performance. Despite being a huge success as one of the biggest blockbusters in Hindi cinema, he felt that it fell short of expectations. Elaborating further, Sudip said, “This is one of the biggest blockbusters in the history of Hindi cinema. There’s no arguing with that. So, great job. But I expected more from this movie. It’s great. Crafts are on display, and there’s a lot to see.” ”
