Prabhas’ ‘Salaar’ storms into the Rs 100-crore club.Actor’s 5th Hindi dubbed movie crosses milestone | Hindi Movie News

Southern superstar Prabhas today achieved another milestone as his action entertainer ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’ (Hindi) reached the $100 million mark.
The Hindi-dubbed version of the film, which has dominated the box office since its release on December 22, crossed the coveted Rs 100-crore mark on Saturday. The film, directed by Prashanth Neel, became Prabhas’ fifth project to achieve this milestone.
Baahubali became the actor’s first Hindi dubbed film to cross this milestone. This was followed by hits like ‘Baahubali 2’, ‘Adipurush’ and ‘Saaho’. The film has just crossed his 100 million mark at the box office in the Hindi field, but has amassed an impressive worldwide collection of over Rs 550 crore. Within just 8 days of its launch, it has collected an impressive total collection of Rs 317.62 crore.

According to Sacnilk.com, the Hindi version of ‘Salaar’ has grossed around Rs 150 crore in India. With this achievement, the film becomes director Prabhas’ second film of 2023 to join the exclusive Rs 100-crore club after ‘Adipurush’.

In a tweet on his official handle, Saknilk declared that Prabhas is “the only South Indian actor to have acted in multiple films in the Rs 100-crore net club”.

While ‘Salaar’ is currently at number 5, ‘Baahubali 2’ is at number 1 in Hindi with a staggering revenue of Rs 511 crore. This was followed by ‘Adipurush’ which earned around Rs 148 million, ‘Saaho’ followed closely by collecting Rs 145.7 million and ‘Baahubali’ came in fourth place with around Rs 118.5 million.
Despite facing stiff competition from Dunki, Salaar has proven its mettle, especially in the mass market, and is expected to continue its success. The Hindi dubbed version of the film is expected to close its theatrical run with a total box office collection of over Rs 150 million.
