Shriram Raghavan told Pinkvilla that there is no pressure to make a sequel to ‘Andhadhun’ but if it becomes too bankrupt or if we get a great story then we will do it. The filmmaker admitted that he won’t even try to make a sequel unless there’s a shocking story. He said that some things are best left unfinished and that trying to make a sequel could ruin the ending of the first film.
Talking about ‘Badlapur’, Sriram said that there is no need for a sequel as the film has a complete story. He said that if he has an interesting plot, he can make another film about anger and revenge and name it Badlapur 2. Sriram Raghavan emphasized that sequels don’t have to be about the same story or the same characters.
