Varun Sodhi to make web series debut with Raveena Tandon Karmma Calling, Deets Inside
Varun Sodhi is gearing up for his inaugural appearance in the web series ‘Karmma Calling’ co-starring Raveena Tandon. The actor discussed his character in the series. “Karma Zari” serves as the Hindi adaptation of the American drama series Revenge.
Starring Ahaan Kottar, portrayed by Varun Sood, the character is portrayed as flamboyant, vulnerable and in the process of finding his place in Alibaug society. Set in a world characterized by glitz, glamour, deceit and betrayal, Ahaan struggles with the conflict between his family heritage and his heart.
Talking about his character, Varun Sood said, “With Karmma Calling, I am making my debut in a serial. When I first met Ahan Kothar on paper, I felt an immediate connection. Sympathizing with him is natural because I realized that our personalities are quite similar. I also wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone with Ahan Kottar and his brilliance.”
Explaining her workout routine, she said, “I have stepped up my workout and diet to portray the character better. This is my way of fully embracing the role and bringing Ahan to life. I hope the audience enjoys seeing me in this new avatar as Ahan Kothar.”
Speaking about her training regime, she added: “I’ve taken my exercise routine and diet to another level, it’s what I do to live the character a bit more. This is my lifestyle in the skin of the character. I just wanted to bring Ahan to life in every sense. I am sure even the audience will like Ahan Kothar and enjoy seeing me in this new avatar.”
On the personal front, Varun recently shared a photo with a mystery girl on Instagram. She didn’t caption the photo, but simply released a glowing emoji. Many speculate that he has found love again in influential Namrata Shetty, who is tagged in the photo.
