Ranbir Kapoor felt ‘a little disappointed’ when KGF star Yash said he didn’t like Ranveer Singh’s earlier films | Bollywood News
After a big hit Prashanth Neel’s KGF The series made Yash a national name. Five years later, Yash is still loved as Rocky Bhai and his fans are eager to see him on the silver screen again. Back in 2018, while promoting KGF: Chapter 1, Yash was asked about his favorite Hindi film actor and he named him. About some of his favorite stars, he said that he didn’t like Ranveer Singh’s early works.
In an interview with ETV Bharat Films and TV, Yash said:Amitabh Bachchan is my all-time favorite and so is Shah Rukh Khan. I have a lot of respect for them. Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, both are very good. Ranveer Singh, I didn’t like his work at first but now I’m not sure why he looks too good. I fell in love with him after watching his films with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Bajirao Mastani. And he’s great in Padmaavat, he’s really great. Ranbir Kapoor, I saw him in Sanju. I saw a lot of his work and he was just too good. I don’t know, I felt like he was a bit of a loss late on, but he was just too good in Sanju. ”

The actor also opened up about the support the KGF team received from Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. He said, “Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani are helping us a lot. Yash recently announced the title of his next film. The KGF star revealed that his next project ‘Yash 19’ will be called ‘Toxic’ and will be directed by Geethu Mohandas.
