“After doing five or six sports films, I was relieved that I would finally be doing a romantic film with SRK. And for Dhanki, the first thing I was asked to do was to learn Gusti. And I was told that the person I had to beat was SRK himself. I wondered what kind of romance this was,” Taapsee said.

Also starring Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Anil Grover and Vikram Kochhar, the music for Dhanki has been composed by Pritam. The film will be Shah Rukh Khan’s third release this year after Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan and Atlee Kumar’s Jawan.
