Film industry analyst Taran Adarsh said of X, “’Animal’ is sensational… it recorded an extraordinary total attendance in the first week… the third largest *7 days* in history. A film released outside of a holiday. Largest *7-day* total for a film. Largest *7-day* total for a film that collided with another film. Highest grossing “A” certified film. ”
Despite mixed reviews, Animal collected a staggering Rs 563 million worldwide. The film also stars Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandana. Shakti Kapoor, Prem Chopra and Suresh Oberoi play important roles.
