The KGF film series, an Indian period action series set primarily in the Kolar goldfields from which it takes its name, is the brainchild of Prashanth Neel. Produced by Hombale Films, the series stars Yash in the lead role and is supported by his diverse ensemble cast. Fight scenes include stab wounds to the neck, the application of a butcher’s hook to the throat, and the impalement of a foot by a thorn, and are occasionally depicted in graphic, bloody detail.

Ghajini, released in 2008, is an Indian action thriller film released in Hindi. The film, co-written and directed by Murugadoss, marks his Hindi film debut. The film stars Aamir Khan, Asin (in his Hindi film debut and reprising his role from the original), Jiah Khan, and Pradeep Rawat plays the titular antagonist.

Gangs of Wasseypur – PRIME VIDEO

In 2012, Anurag Kashyap produced and directed the two-part epic crime film Gangs of Wasseypur in Hindi. The story, co-written by Kashyap and Zeeshan Quadri, unfolds in the realm of the coal mafia, particularly in Dhanbad. The story delves into complex power relationships, political entanglements, and revenge between his three crime families.
