Gadar 2 will digitally premiere on ZEE5 on October 6

Streaming platform ZEE5 on Wednesday announced that ‘Gadar 2’ starring Sunny Dul will premiere on the digital platform from October 6.

“The countdown has begun! Tara Singh is all set to win your hearts! India’s biggest blockbuster is coming to #ZEE5 in just 2 days! #Gadar2OnZEE5,” said ZEE5, a subsidiary of Zee Entertainment Enterprises. I mentioned it in a post.

In the Anil Sharma-directed film, Deol reprized his iconic role of Tara Singh from 2001’s Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. ‘Gaddar 2’ follows Tara Singh as she undertakes a daring attempt to cross the border to rescue her captured son, played by Utkarsh Sharma, in Pakistan.

Produced by Zee Studios, ‘Gadar 2’ also stars Ameesha Patel as Sakeena and Utkarsh Sharma as Charanjeet.

Manish Wadhwa, Gaurav Chopra and Simrat Kaur also starred.

‘Gadar 2’ was released in theaters on August 11th.

This movie has earned approximately INR500 million so far. The film became the second-highest grossing Hindi film, surpassing the lifetime collection of the Hindi version of Baahubali 2, starring Prabhas.

Aamir Khan is all set to produce his next film titled ‘Lahore 1947’ which will feature Sunny Deol.

The film is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
