Squid Game reality show debuts on Netflix in November

We are still anxiously awaiting further news squid game Season 2 is on the way, but until then, we’re looking forward to the reality competition series based on season 1. Netflix announced this week that all 10 episodes will be released. Squid Game: The Challenge will debut on November 22, 2023, with 456 players competing to win $4.56 million.

Netflix explains: Squid Game: The Challenge: “456 real players join the game for a life-changing prize of $4.56 million. Compete in a series of games inspired by the original show, with surprising new additions. This will test their strategies, alliances, and character while eliminating competitors around them.”

Following the success of squid game, there was no doubt that Netflix would do everything in its power to capitalize on the show’s cult popularity. Unfortunately, the press surrounding this reality show wasn’t particularly kind, as several contestants who took part in the game said. Sun Conditions were reportedly harsh, with the production chaotic and disorganized, and at least one contestant being carried off on a stretcher.

“It was like a battlefield,” one contestant claimed. “People were being carried away by medical workers, but we couldn’t say anything. If you spoke, you were out.”

As for the future of the fictional series, it’s clear that it won’t be ready by the end of this year, but maybe it will be. squid game Season 2 will take place sometime in 2024.
