Rising K-drama star Lee Jae Wook has been topping the charts with his versatility and range of performances. Last seen in the hit epic saga The Alchemy Of Souls, the actor said in an interview with Hindustan Times that he was intrigued by the premise of The Impossible Heir.

“The script made a strong first impression, it has a lot of twists and turns. As a viewer, I was interested and knew that I had to play this role. My character on the show and what he’s going through is something we’ve all felt or experienced to varying degrees and it’s universally available. If you pay attention to the emotion graph, you will see how similar these characters are to people you meet in real life,” he said.

The 25-year-old actor once revealed that he not only analyzes the characters he plays, but also creates mind maps to get to know them better. “Tae Ho has a knack for keeping a poker face and never reveals his future plans. I made sure to change my acting style to avoid showing too much emotion, instead showing his personality in small and subtle details,” says the actor of his portrayal of the intensely complex Tae Ho.

In the six years since his debut as a programmer in Memories of the Alhambra, Lee Jae Wook has managed to create controversy on the show.
