Young actor Shine Pandey, who is known for his role in Jio cinema’s web series UP65, is currently seen in the coming-of-age web series Dehati Ladke, which airs on Amazon Mini Tv. The web series, which is gearing up for its second season which will begin streaming on January 12, features Shine along with Kusha Kapila, Raghav Sharma and others. In this serial, Shine portrays the protagonist Rajat, who embarks on a journey of self-discovery, friendship, first love and navigating life’s challenges while moving from a village to a city to pursue his UPSC dreams. In an exclusive interaction with Zoom, Shayne shockingly revealed that he almost gave up Dehati Ladke. Frankly admitting that he wasn’t sure about the role, Shine revealed, “When I was first called for Dehati Ladke, I wasn’t sure if I should do it. At first, I distinctly remember turning it down without even reading the script or knowing more about the show.”

“I just said no. “I don’t know why,” he added as an afterthought.

But the young actor was once again approached for the show, and he decided to take a more active interest in it. Shine read the script and was fascinated by the writing and how the story unfolded. “I went to a mock shoot and I didn’t get the part, and I was very grateful,” she admitted.
