2024 Anime Trending Awards: Nominees, When and How to Watch! | web series
The 2024 Anime Trending Awards (ATA) will feature a long list of categories that will receive votes from the public. The polls closed at 16:00 Tokyo time on February 8th and we are now waiting for the winner to be announced on D-day. The tenth edition of the community award series will continue its usual trend as it once again becomes the voice of international anime fans.
Anime Trending has been studying the weekly top 10 rankings of the latest releases since 2013. The annual award ceremony was first started in 2014. Since then, ATA has often featured shout-outs from the production teams and thanked their international audiences.
This year’s event is another highly anticipated night. Nominees for all 30 categories are published on the official website. Some of them are listed below. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming show.

10th Anime Trending Awards: When to Watch?
The tenth gala edition of this awards show will be broadcast live on March 9 or 10, 2024, depending on your location:
- March 9th at 6pm US Pacific West (PST)
- March 9th at 9pm US Eastern Time Zone (EST)
- March 10 at 2:00 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
- March 10 at 10 a.m. Philippine Standard Time (PST)
- March 10 at 11 a.m. Japan Standard Time (JST)
- March 10 at 12pm Australian Easter Day Time (AEDT)
2024 Anime Trending Awards Nominees
Anime of the Year and Anime Movie of the Year are the two most important categories among the 30 that try to crown the best anime releases and the various aspects related to those premieres. Some of the categories are Character of the Year – Boy of the Year, Girl of the Year, Couple of the Year, Supporting Boy of the Year and Supporting Girl of the Year; Aspect Awards – Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Animation, Best Character Design, Best Original Screenplay, Best Soundtrack, Best Voice Acting and many more.
