Movie memorabilia to go up for sale at Planet Hollywood Treasures Auction – KIK-FM 100.7

In the 1990s, Planet Hollywood restaurants and red carpet openings were seemingly everywhere.

One of the selling points of the World Series – along with its supporting cast of action stars Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger And Bruce Willis -It was the fact that each one of them was filled with movie memorabilia.

However, by the 2000s, most of the restaurants had closed, and many of their silver screen memories were shipped into storage — until now.

Heritage Treasures from the Planet Hollywood Signature Auction, which runs from March 20 to 24, offers 1,600 items for sale, from… Wizard of Oz to the shining.

SPOILER ALERT: These items will likely be priced above their opening bids when the hammer falls, and their opening bids do not include a hefty additional “buyer’s premium” fee.

Some of the pieces up for grabs include Bill MurrayTransparent “Red Rose” bowling ball from 1996 kingpinwhich has an opening bid of $37,000.

There’s a full-size Schwarzenegger display figure as the battle-damaged T-800 cyborg from 1991. Terminator 2: Judgment Daywhich has a starting bid of $10,000.

Also on the block is the Holy Grail from 1989 Indiana Jones and the Last CrusadeWhich starts at $7,750. Talking about Harrison Forda full-size carbonite Han Solo from the 1980s The Empire strikes back Starts at $4300.

Some items are not very expensive, such as Murray’s signed owner’s manual for the “EM-50 Urban Assault Vehicle” from 1981 Stripsopening at $500.

There’s also a Nazi sign from Indy’s The last crusade Go for $550.
