Matthew McConaughey talks to Kate Hudson about how to lose a man in 10 days

Matthew McConaughey is opening up about the dynamic that occurred between him and Kate Hudson while filming his movie How to lose a guy in 10 days.

The Oscar winner sat down with the people To celebrate the publication’s 50th anniversary, he talked about some of his most famous roles, including his stint as the rom-com’s heartthrob. He recalled meeting his star before the film’s production began.

“I remember we met at Paramount — I think it was the right time — and those who are kind of meeting couches, especially for romantic comedies, want to see the chemistry between the two leads,” he said. “You want to see what jazz dancing is like.
