“I’m not stupid, there’s a reason you’re here!”

Jason and Travis Kelce are preparing for a new career in the world of Hollywood and are currently in Los Angeles interviewing for parts. That is, according to Arnold Schwarzenegger anyway.

The acting legend was a special guest on the latest episode of New Heights, and both Travis and Jason were thrilled to pick his thoughts on his life and career.

Travis in particular has been open about his plans to break into entertainment when he retires from the NFL, and Schwarzenegger was quick to joke about why the NFL’s famous brothers are heading to the West Coast this week.

“I know you (Jason) are retired now, right?” The acting icon began. “That means you (Travis) will go on and win another Super Bowl.” (Travis: Light me up! Light me up, Arnie!)

‘What are you going to do?’ Win another Super Bowl, that’s what it is. In fact, you might win another one after that.

“Now you’re Jason, this may be casual but no one’s going to gossip over there…he’s probably here to do some interviews for parts of the movie.”

“A lot of times, you guys do the show and you’re in another place, and you’re in another place, and it’s a split-screen thing that works really well… but now you’re together because you’re in Hollywood. I’m not stupid, there’s a reason these guys are together.” In Hollywood.

“There are all kinds of interviews being scheduled, I know, for movie parts. You guys have it lined up, you just don’t want to give it up now, I know how it works.

Jason and Travis remained silent and immediately changed tack, asking Arnie instead how he chooses which movies to be in.

But Travis clearly has one eye on his post-football career, and he’s already started in the world of film, having been an executive producer on the recent film My Dead Friend Zoe.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Kelsey was also asked about appearing on Saturday Night Live in 2023 and if scripted comedy is on his radar.

It still is, and I’m here in Los Angeles trying to get more comfortable in the entertainment world before we get back into football, knowing that this is my primary focus in my life, and it always will be until “I’m done playing,” Kelce shared.

“But I’m definitely still involved in the written world, the entertainment world, and we’ll see where that path takes me.” I’m very excited, but at the same time, I know I’m an amateur in this world, so I should definitely feel comfortable, and, I don’t know, putting my own creativity into this.

On New Heights, Schwarzenegger admitted that he’s already a big fan of the Kelce brothers, after the incredible success of their New Heights radio show.

“You’re there now… you started this podcast two years ago,” he noted. “It’s going through the roof, everyone’s talking about it.” It’s great. Two brothers, how cool is that? Two brothers working together, competing with each other, and I watched each other.

“You’re really talented, well-spoken, full of energy and ask interesting questions and say funny things. (Travis: That’s so cool, man).

“So when they asked me, I immediately said ‘Oh yeah, I didn’t have to think about it, because these guys are talented.’

The Kelce brothers are currently spending time together in Los Angeles during football offseason, and Travis is set to return to the Kansas City Chiefs in the coming months.

The future is less clear for Jason, having hung up his boots last month – and is now in the process of deciding what comes next.
