Academy reveals shortlists in 10 categories – The Hollywood Reporter

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Thursday announced shortlists in 10 categories for the 96th Academy Awards.

The shortlists were revealed in the following categories: Feature Documentary, Short Documentary, International Feature Film, Make-up & Hairstyling, Music (Original Score), Music (Original Song), Animated Short Film, Live Action Short Film, and Sound & Visual. Effects.

Barbie, Oppenheimer, Moonflower Killers, Purple And Area of ​​interest Among the films that made the cut on multiple lists.

Voting on nominations will take place from January 11 to 16, and the official announcement of the nominations is scheduled to take place on January 23.

The Oscars will be held on March 10 at Ovation Hollywood’s Dolby Theater and will be broadcast live on ABC. Jimmy Kimmel returns as host.
